A 23-year-old woman identified as Seth Nyakio Njeri was found dead in a rented house in Biafra, Thika, Kiambu County.
Seth, a Zetech University graduate, had left her home in Kamakis on Saturday.
After losing contact with her on Sunday, her family became concerned and began a search.
On Monday, they received a call informing them of her death.

Police found her body with visible injuries, and initial investigations suggest she was strangled.
Authorities are focusing on a male friend suspected to have been involved in the incident.
