Hon. Ekusi Lore has strongly condemned the government’s silence over the continued killings of Turkana residents, particularly the recent wave of violence in Aroo Sub-County.
“The fact that Murkomen (CS) is unmoved by the continued multiple killings of the Turkana People, including currently in Aroo Subcounty, is a testament that he’s incapable of neutrally manning the Kenyan security docket. He MUST GO,” Hon. Ekusi stated.
He further criticized the current Turkana Senator, accusing him of sleeping on the job and failing to speak up as innocent lives continue to be lost. “Our people are dying, and those elected to represent them remain quiet. Elected leaders must serve the people, not their own interests,” he said.
Hon. Ekusi pledged that once elected as Turkana Senator in 2027, insecurity will become a thing of the past. He promised to use his legal expertise to address and seal the existing legal loopholes that have allowed insecurity to thrive across the county.
“Turkana needs a young, vibrant senator who will go to the ground, understand the pain of the people, and fix the security crisis from the grassroots,” he affirmed.
