PREMIER LEAGUE GAME: The weekend blossomed the football fanatics after the premier league became a thriller in it’s 6th game week of the 2023-24 season. Newcastle United registered a history in the premier league after thrashing Sheffield United 8-0 whereby each goal was scored by a different player while in an away match.
Chelsea FC, who are under new coach Mauricio Pochettino, were beaten 1-0 by Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge in a heated up game. Chelsea lost many chances as players played a mean game. Raheem Sterling missed an open goal after he meanly played the game same way Rashford, Manchester United winger refused to pass the ball to their world class midfielder Casemiro in their game against Burnley.
Johnny Evans registered a master class pass to Bruno Fernandes who converted it into a goal giving the Red Devil’s a lead. The game ended in a 1-0 win for the Red Devils.
Roberto De Zerbi’s service at Brighton & Hove Albion is superb. Having served for a year at the club, he has won most of the top games hence taking the club for the first time in Europa League competitions.
Brighton & Hove Albion thrashed Bournemouth 3-1 in their home ground. This is the same result they had registered in their game against Manchester United last weekend at Old Trafford last weekend. Rodrigo, the Manchester City midfielder, was awarded a red card by the referee hence sent out of the field in their game against Nottingham Forest. He had entangled with Gibbs White from the opponent team.
This didn’t stop Manchester City from beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at Etihad Stadium where Halaand expanded legacy by scoring 44 goals in his 41 premier league appearances.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur’s game amused fanatics. The London derby ended in a 2-2 draw after both teams fighting for the 3 points. Saka and his opponent Son flag-beared their teams high.
